My take on a Filipino classic, chicken adobo and garlic fried rice.

Chicken, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, crushed pepper corns, onions, garlic, kalamansi juice, water, scallions, cilantro. Marinade the first eight overnight; separate, pat dry, and sear the chicken; braise in the marinade + water; and finish with the last two.
