Paul Felipe. Nineteen. Libra. SoCal. ;DDinner tonight: fried fish balls on a crisp bed of Asian-inspired slaw.
Bok choy, carrots, bell peppers, cilantro, rice wine vinegar, fish sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, black pepper.
My take on a Filipino classic, chicken adobo and garlic fried rice.
Chicken, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, crushed pepper corns, onions, garlic, kalamansi juice, water, scallions, cilantro. Marinade the first eight overnight; separate, pat dry, and sear the chicken; braise in the marinade + water; and finish with the last two.
Bacon pancakes, hash browns, and scrambled eggs = my type of breakfast.
Mashed sweet potatoes and baked beans. S’all I have to say.
Orange chocolate cupcakes frosted with an orange honey buttercream.
We ran out of paper cup liners so I had to use foil. Still good, though. So good.
My later lunch. It took the entirety of my willpower to take a picture of this before devouring it.
Turkey, tofu, and leek dumplings with a quick pineapple and spinach stir fry~
After I had my breakfast smoothie (organic hemp protein powder, frozen berry mix, agave nectar, water) and finished up at the gym for my yoga and pilates fusion class, I cooked myself some lunch.
A scrambled egg, ham, spinach, grapes, and a warm apple cider vinaigrette: olive oil, apple cider vinegar, thyme, paprika, mustard, agave nectar.

lulz, this plate is a mess. Anyway, made some dinner!
- Herb-crusted salmon steak: salmon steaks, cilantro, thyme, garlic, cajun seasoning
- Mango salad: mangoes, red onion, cilantro, lemon juice, agave nectar, spinach
- Mushroom thingy: caramelized onions, thyme, portobello mushrooms, clementine juice
Ingredients for an amazeballs smoothie: strawberries, mango slices, a clementine, skim milk, agave nectar, sea salt, water.
Grilled plums tossed in balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and sea salt à la mode. One of the many things I love about summer includes grilled fruit.
